Various news and revelations are being made public in the international media about the new version of Apple’s much awaited iPhone, iPhone 14. The latest version of the iPhone 14 is said to have a higher capacity battery than the iPhone 13. Because Apple is planning to switch to Five G chips for the iPhone this year. According to a report, Apple is in talks with TSMC to produce five GRF chips for the iPhone 14, which will be unveiled later this year in 2022.
Remember that TSMC is one of the largest smartphone chips company and recently it has won the agreement to produce chips for Samsung company with its state-of-the-art technology. Now Apple will also choose TSMC to produce 5GR chips.
The new Five G chips on the iPhone consume less energy. The company says that TSMC’s new 5G chips are 6 nanometers in size. This size is smaller than the chips currently used in Samsung smartphones and is also economical in terms of battery consumption. This means that the iPhone 14 will not have the problem of quickly charging due to high battery consumption.
Recently, the use of state-of-the-art technology for high-capacity displays, processors and cameras has put pressure on smartphone batteries. Due to which the problem of fast draining of battery in flagship phones has become a common problem faced by the users.
In fact, many phone manufacturers are paying more attention to features like the display and camera of the phone but ignoring the battery. Apple intends to take a step forward this year to increase the battery life of the iPhone and has chosen TSMC for that. Smaller Five G chips are expected to provide higher performance with minimal battery consumption.
